Trail of Tears Motorcycle Ride

The Museum of Native American History (MONAH) in Bentonville is excited to welcome the 25th Annual Trail of Tears Commemorative Motorcycle Ride. Meet the riders and learn more about the organization.

The Trail of Tears Commemorative Motorcycle Ride began to raise public awareness of the Drane/Hood Overland Route and to mark this specific overland Trail of Tears Route. The Drane/Hood Overland Route runs from Ross Landing, TN, closely following US Highway 72, to Waterloo, AL. The Trail of Tears Commemorative Motorcycle Ride has followed the same route as 1,070 Cherokee Indians removed under presidential mandate since it’s first ride in 1994.
